2023... A Year in Review

Updated: Dec 14, 2023

Oh, hey!!! As I mentioned last year, I'm terrible about keeping everyone updated on the things in my world. Honestly, I'm mostly focused on my business and the talented musicians that work for Robin-Banks Entertainment that I often forget that.... yes, I am a singer, performer and musician myself. I hate to admit that the reason I do what I do gets lost in the shuffle. I'm actively trying to work on that, and I've recently been writing some new solo material and getting creative.

So what's new? Well, I've wrapped our 2023 wedding season (almost! One more on NYE!) I am relishing in the slight calm where I am not hyper-focused on planning, coordinating and performing a wedding or two nearly every weekend.

2023 has been a year of challenges and also some very exciting things! First of all, Central City Orchestra was honored to have been awarded with our 2nd Central Pennsylvania Hall of Fame Award for Best Variety/Dance Band!

In non-business news, I took a lovely trip in March to the Yucatán Peninsula with my sisters. We had an amazing time exploring Tulum, Mexico. Here's some more proof. 😉 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

April marked the start for wedding and event season for Robin-Banks Entertainment. I've had quite the year with Central City Orchestra performing all over the mid-Atlantic. I'm very thankful for all the amazing performance opportunities but I'm also exhausted!

Oh yeah.... and then this "thing" happened in June.... I turned 40! I literally don't know how it happened. 🤷‍♀️

In August I went to DC and got to see P!nk with my favorite gal pals! What an AMAZING show!

I teamed up with Everpresent to sing on his new single, Seduce Me. The official video had over 50,000 views in only 4 weeks followed up with some pretty rockin' reviews. Indiestrong.com wrote, "This enchanting ballad is delivered with impeccable production. The chemistry between Cahoon and Robinette is undeniable and this masterpiece echos the influences of Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, and a touch of Nine Inch Nails."

In early December, I was honored to be a part of the very first Central PA Women's Mastermind. This event was all about coming together to empower each other and to learn from each other's successes and challenges. I was thrilled to be a part of an amazing panel of fellow female business leaders!

I have a lot of new things I'm going to be focusing on in the new year. More on that soon!

Happy holidays everyone!
